Setting Up Thunderbird

Follow the instructions below to set up your email in Thunderbird:

  1. Open your version of Mozilla Thunderbird
  2. From the menu on the top, click on Tools then Account Settings


        On the far right hand side, click on the 3 lines, then Options, then 
           Account Settings

  3. This will open the account manager
  4. Click on Account Actions, then on Add Mail Account...

  5. Enter the following information
  • Your Name
  • Your E-mail Address
  • Your Password

  1. Click Continue
  2. Click Done
  3. You will then be asks a couple of questions about permissions and security as the server configures Thunderbird.  This is normal.  Just accept them.
  4. Thunderbird is now configured and ready for you to use with your new email address.
